About Me

Welcome. My name is Mitchel Woolley. I am a senior at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA graduating in May 2025 with a B.S. in Computer Science: Software Engineering. I am seeking to leverage my love of fitness, service, hands-on work, and technology in a career in law enforcement. When I am not at school, work, or doing homework, I enjoy going to CrossFit or training for triathlons, studying church history and reformed theology, spending time with the people I love, or learning something new and applicable in the technology sphere.

As a former police officer and now dedicated pastor, I can attest to [Woolley]'s genuine servant's heart. He consistently demonstrates a deep commitment to serving his family and community with heartfelt love and care. His passion and dedication are inspiring, and I have no doubt that he will make a positive impact as a dedicated Sheriff's Deputy."

- Sulimoni Ahfook, Minister and Former Port of San Diego harbor Police Officer

"Mitch is every supervisor's dream employee. From his first day, Mitch has proven himself to be an important part of the DPS team. Compared to other student employment on campus, the duties of a CSO are unique and carry significant responsibility. Maintaining a 24/7 presence on campus requires our employees to work odd hours. I have several undesirable shifts that I need to cover, such as 3am-7am on Sundays and Mondays. Mitch has been taking the Sunday morning shifts since the beginning of the school year. This selfless act serves both the PLNU community and his fellow officers. Mitch is extremely reliable. When he is on the schedule, I know that he will be there. When he shows up, he is ready to work, both physically and mentally."

- Mike Cabral, Assistant Directory, Department of Public Safety, Point Loma Nazarene University
